Atleast Trixie's supportive in this fic. Usually she's the bad guy.

Actually, their magic is probably equal. It's just that while Trixie focused on parlor tricks, Twilight studied hard. But there's no telling how powerful Trixie would be if she studied as hard as Twi.

Actually the Unicorn who was told by the immortal ruler of the realm that she had the most raw magical ability of any unicorn she had ever seen, probably has more magical power than the travelling street performer.

Hmmmmm, do you mean the same ruler who told her that Nightamere Moon is an old ponytale?
If so, your argument is invalid.

Plus, you said it yourself "she had ever seen" which means, Twilight and Trixie might still be even, cause Celestia could just not notice Trixie's potential, more so since she seems pretty oblivious to many things in her kingdom (like when she first saw Parasprites and thought it was a parade, or she never warned to settler ponies not to build their town on buffalo grounds).

First off, she told her nothing of the sort.
She merely said that she should stop reading those dusty old books and make some friends, which was 100% true.
so your argument that she is an unreliable source is invalid since it is based on falsehood.

Secondarily: powerful magicans have a tendancy to make ripples an be known, far more so than extremely rare creatures and the exact place your subjects place their farms in areas at the time outside of your territory, the later of which would need an extreme level of micromanagement to be aware off.

Finally and most importantly: There is absolutely zero evidence that Trixie has any more potential than she showed, much less to such a degree that she could achieve a task which she considered impossible for anypony to do if she had merely had a different training.

:icontwilightsparkleplz::iconsaysplz:"But you told me it was all a n old ponytale."
Season 1, episode 2, and Twilight herself agrees with me.

Secondarily, the "tendency to make ripples" by powerful magicians comes from Discworld, NOT MLP. Sorry fanboy, wrong fandom.

And there's also zero evidence she doesn't have as more potential than she showed.

And finally, if all you are capable of are fanboyish delusions and trolling, I advice you keep to yourself and stop butting in into other peoples conversations.

To which Celestia then replied

"I told you that you needed to make some friends."

Seriously? It's fine if you have a personal opinion. But if you're going to use canon to support it, and you feel the inane need to quote lines from the show, make sure to quote the ENTIRE conversation. -_-

Used canon to reply to someone else using canon, next time, do read the ENTIRE conversation.

I did read the entire conversation - apparently, you think you're having an entirely different conversation.

Your argument is fallacious. Your evidence has been proven incorrect. Bow out with some grace, save yourself some dignity at least. Your entire argument here depends on Celestia having told Twilight that the Nightmare Moon prophecies were an old pony's tale. Which she did NOT say even once - the entire PURPOSE of Twilight's dialogue at this point in the episode is to display how she can let her assumptions cloud her judgment. Celestia's exact response to Twilight's letter included the phrase "You simply must stop reading those dusty old books," NEVER once saying that she actually believed (and never once lying to Twilight, if you think THAT'S where you're going to get to go with this) that. Twilight's assumption was exactly that - a mistaken conclusion based on a lack of proper perception and a lack of all the facts.

Which means that trying to use that argument, and trying to use that dialogue to back it up, is futile. So...where exactly is this difficult for you to follow?

Pay attention next time.

Yes, she did lost that "battle" but like I said, that was because of difference in experience and skill with magic, this still doesn't mean their raw magic level isn't even.
